Sunny Pfalzer is a performance and visual artist. They studied Performative Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Carola Dertnig. Their practice combines performance, language, poetry, textiles, and movement—often describing themselves as Surfer Boy, Go-Go Girl, and Slug. Pfalzer’s work is physical and emotional, centering on collaboration, friendship, and collective processes.

Whether on stage, sewing textile sculptures, in front of a camera, or choreographing public space, Pfalzer explores how bodies and clothing communicate. Costumes become sculptures, performances become videos, installations become social spaces. Workshops and collaborative projects are essential for exchanging knowledge and reflection.

Their works have been shown at KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin), Kunsthalle Wien, Shedhalle Zürich, Les Urbaines Lausanne, Wiener Festwochen, and Centro Gulbenkian Lisbon. Pfalzer has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and is Guest Professor at Hochschule Luzern.
