Sofia Helena (Tufi) & Kara Bukowski met in Istanbul in 2022 and have been in ongoing dialogue ever since. Their intersecting interests in performance, video, and soft chaos explore the ambivalences of urban life, public intimacy, and the body as both witness and instigator. Rooted in experimental image-making and interactive environments, their individual practices blur the lines between fiction and nonfiction, ritual and play.

Outside their duo practice, Sofia (she/they, *2000, BR) is a multimedia artist and writer studying at the Institute for Art Gender and Nature in Basel, currently developing their first theater project with the dev0id collect1ve. Kara (he/she/they, *1999, DE) is a multimedia artist and DJ, currently studying at Städelschule in Frankfurt, working with installation, video, and performative spatial concepts.
